Maaramataka is a system of calendar time keeping for the Maaori tribes of Aotearoa (New Zealand).
As a time keeping system Maaramataka is quite unique in that it is a four-fold system incorporating the Solar Calendar, the Lunar Calendar, the Seasonal Calendar and the Celestial Calendar.
